A company built around people, not a call-center script.
T-10 Construction has been serving the Twin Cities Metro since 2017, but the point was never just to create another roofing company. Jay Solem wanted a shop that could make a good living by doing right by customers, crews, and the communities that keep showing up for one another.
Jay started in finance sales and figured out pretty quickly that being stuck at a desk was not his lane. A newspaper ad got him into roofing sales, and the work clicked: new jobsite every day, real problems to solve, and homeowners who needed a straight answer after storms.
He built T-10 with his wife, Angie, who keeps the office moving and the details buttoned up. The company is big enough for specialists in their own lanes, from sales reps to production managers to install crews, but still local enough that the person at your door knows your neighborhood.

Jay Solem built T-10 for homeowners and for the people doing the work.
Jay liked roofing because it was honest work in changing places: different roofs, different neighborhoods, and real conversations instead of another day behind a desk.
His goal was to build a company where skilled people can focus on what they are good at. That means homeowners get cleaner communication, crews get better support, and the whole job runs with less chaos.
Today, Jay manages operations with Angie keeping the office organized, the paperwork moving, and the team pointed in the same direction.
